Google introduced authorship to show author info in search results to assist users to discover great content. There are millions of authors on Internet and there are millions of content on Internet. Get Google Authorship in just 6 easy steps.

First go to Google+ site and create your own profile.
Make sure your profile photo should be a high quality one. Don’t upload clip-art or low-quality photos. Google never recognize those photos for Google Authorship verification.
Make sure your name appears in all the pages of your site. (for example : By Perambur Kumar). Make sure your name matches the name of your Google Plus Profile.
Verify your e-mail addresses. First one with Gmail account and Second one with your own domain e-mail account. For example : peramburkumar@gmail.com and peramburkumar@peramburkumar.com So you must verify both the email accounts to get Google Authorship. So please remember this while creating your Google+ profile account. Other Profiles – Here you can give links to all your social media profiles (for example : Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Stumbleupon, Pinterest, Instagram and so on). Contributor to : Here you can link all the websites that you’re contributing content (which includes your own websites and YouTube channels and also other websites you’re writing content (Guest Posts). 3.
